Expository Reading and Writing Online Community
The CSU Expository Reading and Writing Task Force has developed a curriculum and
teacher-training materials for an expository reading and writing course for high school
students in their senior year. The course is designed to prepare students for college-level
English and it is aligned with the California English-Language Arts Content Standards.
To support the professional development efforts of the course, ATS had developed the
Expository Reading and Writing Online Community. This online forum encourages collaboration
among English teachers throughout the State as they implement the curriculum in their
classrooms. This password protected site includes community polls, discussion boards,
videos, and access to the entire curriculum.
