The CSU is proud to honor the recipients of the 2003 Bautzer University Faculty Advancement Awards. These outstanding faculty members have been chosen by their campuses for their interest and efforts in support of the advancement programs of their school or academic unit. The Bautzer award covers the cost of attending advancement seminars and professional development meetings that focus on enhancing advancement skills. The CSU Advancement Academy conference is included as part of this award. Bautzer Faculty Awardees will be recognized by Chancellor Charles B. Reed at a luncheon on Monday April 28.

Established in 1996 by a gift honoring former CSU Trustee Gregson Bautzer, the Bautzer Faculty Award provides selected faculty members the opportunity to better understand the role of advancement programs in meeting the needs of the university and encourages faculty to take an active role in promoting advancement activities. The program's intent is for Bautzer Faculty to serve as new ambassadors for their campuses by increasing their understanding of the art and practice of development, and sharing that knowledge with their colleagues.
