Ambassadors for Higher Education

"The Ambassadors for Higher Education program is an essential link to the corporate, philanthropic and community leaders of California. The success of the economy in California is inextricably linked to the success of our public higher education. No other state depends so heavily on a supply of educated workers as does California. Investing in higher education is an investment in the future of our state."
Charles B. Reed
Chancellor
The California State University

Ambassadors are individuals who have made a commitment to volunteer on behalf of the California State University because they understand that access to high-quality public higher education is the key to California's economic, social and political strength. The Ambassadors program at each campus involves community leaders in projects that support the connections between higher education and the community. Through their efforts they are working to improve the quality of life for all Californians.
