Category III Miscellaneous Course Fees for Geology 4382 and 4392 — Executive Order Number 1015

Attached is a copy of Executive Order No. 1015, which authorizes California State University, Stanislaus to establish Category III miscellaneous course fees for the above listed courses.

In accordance with policy of the California State University, the campus president has responsibility for implementing executive orders where applicable and for maintaining the campus repository and index for all executive orders.

Title:

Category III Miscellaneous Course Fees for Geology 4382 and 4392; California State University, Stanislaus

This executive order is issued under the authority granted by Education Code Sections 89035 and 89700, Standing Orders of the Board of Trustees, Section II (i), and Board of Trustees’ Resolution RFIN 03-04-00, and consonant with Executive Order Number 740.

Effective July 17, 2007, California State University, Stanislaus is authorized to establish miscellaneous course fees in the amount of $10 for Geology 4382: Sedimentary Rocks and Depositional Environments Lab, and Geology 4392: Paleontology and Stratigraphy Lab.  The revenue from these fees will cover costs associated with transportation for field trips including drivers and mileage reimbursement. 

In accordance with Section 89721(l) of the Education Code, revenue collected from Category III fees shall be deposited in a local trust account.
