Attached is a copy of Executive Order No. 1021, which authorizes California State University, Chico to establish miscellaneous course fees for PHYS 202A, 202B, 204A, 204B and 204C, and EECE 211.

In accordance with policy of the California State University, the campus president has responsibility for implementing executive orders where applicable and for maintaining the campus repository and index for all executive orders.

Title:

Miscellaneous course fees for Physics courses 202A, 202B, 204A, 204B and 204C at California State University, Chico


This executive order is issued under the authority granted by Education Code Sections 89035, 89700, 89703, 90002, and 90012 and Standing Orders of the Board of Trustees, Section II (i), and Board of Trustees’ Resolution RFIN 03-04-00, and consistent with Executive Order Number 740.

Effective September 24, 2007, California State University, Chico is authorized to establish the following Category III course fees at the specified fee rates:

Course Fee Rate Covered by the fee
PHYS 202A General Physics $6 Labpro interface, dynamics system, motion sensors+adaptor. Rotary motion sensor, force sensor, force platform, absolute pressure probe, low pressure probe, quick response temp, high precision temp, mechanical wave drive and digital function generator.
PHYS 202B General Physics $5 Sound probe, general purpose light probe, high sensitivity light probe, infrared probe, ultraviolet probe, voltage probe, current probe, charge probe, magnetic field probe and Gieger-Mueller tube probe
PHYS 204A Mechanics $7 Labpro interface, dynamics system, motion sensors+adaptor, rotary motion sensor, force sensor, force platform
PHYS 204B Electricity & Magnetism $2 Voltage probe, current probe, charge probe, magnetic field probe.
EECE 211 Linear Circuits $10 Purchase MATLAB Licensed Software for use in the course

In accordance with Section 89724(l), revenue collected all higher education fees should be deposited in a local trust account unless otherwise specified.
