The CSU Office of Federal Relations (OFR) works in Washington, D.C., to advance the interests of the nation's largest and most diverse university system. The OFR serves as a resource to Washington-based policymakers, including the California Congressional delegation, as well as to educational associations and media. The OFR also leads system efforts each year to formulate and coordinate the federal priorities of the CSU's 23 campuses.
Proudly Serving Veterans at the CSU
California leads the nation with 1.7 million veterans. 88,420 Californians receive veteran-related education benefits, including 63,263 under the Post 9/11 GI Bill.
The California State University (CSU) is proud of the more than 13,000 veterans, service members and their families that have chosen to fulfill their higher education goals at the CSU. The CSU is focused on being not merely "veteran friendly" but on promoting veteran success. The CSU recognizes the unique circumstances of active and former members of the military and that is why each of our 23 campuses has a specialized team of staff, programs and resources to ensure that these students are welcomed and supported along their path to a CSU degree.
