Earnings IDs are established by the State Controller's Office (SCO) as a unique identifier for a specific type of pay. The Chancellor's Office requests Earnings IDs to be established to support salary-related provisions of a collective bargaining agreement and CSU policy. This site provides a listing of Earnings IDs that have been established specifically for the CSU. Note that numerous Earnings IDs are used by the CSU which are shared with other agencies paid by the State (e.g., for overtime, disability, shift payments). Refer to the SCO's
Payroll Procedures Manual for those listings, generally found in sections B036, H012 and G105.
