General Information

Effective July 1, 2001, the President may authorize a Unit 1 employee assigned to Medical Chief of Staff/Supervisory Physician function a monthly stipend between 3% to 10% of the employee's base salary. This stipend is not a permanent part of the employee's base salary and is not considered a PBSI.

To compensate for performing this function, campuses can either continue their existing compensation practice or use this new stipend.

The stipend is paid from campus funds.
