General Information
  • Typically, the SCO will process the GSI retroactive to the effective date of the GSI for that fiscal year (e.g., 07/01/07 for FY 2007/08). The GSI is applied to individual salary rates of all active employees and typically, to all salary range minimums and maximums of all bargaining unit classifications.

  • Employees appointed after the effective date for that year, but before the SCO processes the GSI, will have the GSI applied to their salary. This includes new hires.

  • Transactions posted prior to the GSI with an effective date later than the effective date of the GSI will be corrected to reflect the GSI.
