Provided below is a brief summary of the most common compensation programs for the CSU. The intent of this matrix is to provide HR and Payroll staff a quick historical reference of the GSI, Service and Performance base salary increase programs. This matrix is not intended to be a complete summary of all the provisions provided in the collective bargaining agreement for each represented group. For complete information, please refer to the appropriate collective bargaining agreement and/or appropriate coded memoranda.

Please note that the terms Performance and Service are used generically across all employee groups. Please refer to the appropriate collective bargaining agreements for the specific program title.
