Alumni Council News and Highlights for CSU Alumni Leadership

Guy Heston, President

We’re heading into a busy spring for the Alumni Council and our campus alumni associations. In April, the Alumni Council will hold our spring conference hosted at Sonoma State University. The conference will feature professional development programming related to alumni communications.

The campuses will soon be gearing up for commencement season starting with CSU Maritime Academy on April 28 and concluding with CSU San Bernardino on June 17. During that time, over 95,000 students from our 23 campuses will join the CSU alumni family. We encourage you to use your voice to be an advocate for the CSU and our current and future students. Find your way to be involved at

We hope you enjoy the news in this edition of Alumni Leader.

CSU New York/Tri-State Alumni Reception

Nearly 200 CSU alumni and friends attended the CSU New York/Tri-State Alumni Reception in New York City on February 27. This popular networking event brings together alumni from all CSU campuses with campus presidents and CSU trustees. It was a great night showcasing the pride of our east coast alumni!
