CSU Alumni Trustee

The CSU Alumni Council has been given the responsibility under the Education Code to directly appoint a member of the Trustees from among the over 2 million alumni of this great system.

Serving on the California State University (CSU) Board of Trustees as an appointed Alumni Trustee is a significant opportunity. The Board not only sets policy and direction for the CSU, but they represent the State of California on behalf of the CSU system.

CSU Alumni Council appointee for 2008-2010 is Bob Linscheid, an alumnus of CSU Chico, immediate Past-President of the CSU Alumni Council and current owner of a public relations and business advocacy firm in Chico. Read Bob's blog here.

In order to determine the correct individual for this honored appointment, the Alumni Council assumes a several month process that is both thorough and inclusive. As such, this is a responsibility the Council takes very seriously and ensures that every CSU campus is involved in the process.
