  • Was an educator for thirteen years before starting with the Nisei Farmers League in 1987. He became President of the League in 1996.
  • The Nisei Farmers League specializes in labor, immigration, housing, transportation, and environmental issues representing growers and related businesses of many agriculture commodities.
  • Served on many state and federal committees representing the agricultural industry including the research/policy committee with the California Air Resources Board, Community Hospitals of Central California Board of Directors, Ag Air Quality Task Force, PM10 Policy Committee for California, Citizen Advisory Group of Industries, the Citizen's Advisory Committee to the San Joaquin Valley Air Board, and the Federal Reserve Board in Washington D.C.
  • Also a board member and officer of the Agricultural Coalition for Immigration Reform (ACIR) in Washington, D.C.
