Academic Technology Planning Committee
The Academic Technology Planning Committee has been formed to:
Play a lead role in the planning process that will result in a set
of strategic directions and initiative areas focused on supporting our
academic mission through technology.
Determine the assumptions, values, specific goals, principles and
ultimately the initiatives that comprise the proposed plan.
Coordinate with standing advisory groups such as ATAC,
ITAC, COLD
and the CMS
Project Advisory Committee as well as various affinity groups
and provide regular progress reports to these constituent groups.
Participate in and assist with campus consultations.
Academic Technology Framework
The graphic below illustrates how the policies, procedures and support serve as the base
support for supporting the ATS initiatives which lead to the following outcomes:
Maintaining and improving the high quality of education
Meeting the access requirements of California residents eligible
for admission to the CSU.
Providing high levels of student satisfaction with the education and
student services that support instruction
Providing mechanisms by which CSU faculty, both individually and
collectively, can redesign their workload
