Accessing quality content easily and more affordably can be achieved through the following ATS projects and services. These services provide greater choice at a reduced cost while working to ensure accessibility to learning resources.

ATS Resource Description
Affordable Learning Solutions Provides easy access to free online course content and free online textbooks as well as guidance on using CSU library resources that can substitute for print textbooks. The website provides access to lower-cost publisher content, online resellers of used books, and authoring tools for faculty to create online content easily.

Systemwide Digital Library Services (SDLS)

Offers CSU Systemwide library strategy for purchasing electronic resources that are shared across all 23 campuses. (Accessible through CSU Network only.)
MERLOT - Multimedia Educational Resource for Learning and Online Teaching Offers free access to over 46,000 online teaching and learning materials across a wide range of disciplines.
World Images Database Offers over 70,000 FREE copyright controlled digital images in the humanities, arts, social sciences and architecture for use in teaching and research.
Accessible Instructional Materials Hub (AIMHub), formerly CAM

Provides tens of thousands of commercian textooks available in alternative accessible format.  Currently limited to CSU and CCC.

BLOL - Biology Labs On Line

Biology Labs On Line Simulations and Exercises

Offers fee-based virtual simulated labs covering major topics in biology.
XERXES Provides a customizable technology development tool for libraries to dynamically search for library resources across a variety of collections and display the results in a user-friendly manner.


SFX Search for Journals, Magazines, and Newspapers

CSU/SFX Metalib

Provides full text access to CSU electronic library resources.
CSU Special Collections Provides a directory of over 600 special collections managed by our CSU libraries.
Libraries of the Future Taskforce Provosts, library deans, and faculty leaders are developing recommendations for a system-wide initiative to leverage technological advances and transform the CSU's library services in support of student and faculty success and the Graduation Initiative.
