COAST also has several internal programs that support CSU students through research funding, travel awards and internships.

COAST provides travel support for CSU undergraduate and graduate students to present the results of original research at marine, estuarine and coastal-themed scientific meetings and conferences, or special thematic sessions of more general scientific meetings.
