Space and Facilities Database (SFDB)

SFDB is the official record of existing space and facilities for the California State University and is maintained by Capital Planning, Design and Construction department of the Chancellor's Office. The database is used in the analysis of the Capital Outlay Budget Change Proposals (COBCP), space needs, space utilization, and other space and facility related issues and reports. SFDB is only accessible to internal CSU users who have been assigned an SFDB username and password.

Compatible Operating System and Browser
At this time, we only support the following OS and browser combinations:

  • Windows XP/Vista/7/10 - Linux and Mac OS are currently not supported.
  • Internet Explorer 6 or higher - Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, and other browsers are currently not supported.

Required Plugins
When accessing SFDB for the first time, you may be prompted to install the following required plugins:

  • ActiveX for Windows OS
  • Java Runtime Environment (JRE) for Internet Explorer
