Attached is a copy of Executive Order No. 1004, which authorizes California State University, San Marcos to establish Category III Miscellaneous Course Fees for Biology 351, 352, 353 and 354.

In accordance with policy of the California State University, the campus president has responsibility for implementing executive orders where applicable and for maintaining the campus repository and index for all executive orders.

Title:

Category III Miscellaneous Course Fees for Biology 351, 352, 353 and 354 at California State University, San Marcos
 

This executive order is issued under the authority granted by Education Code Sections 89035 and 89700, Standing Orders of the Board of Trustees, Chapter II, i, and Board of Trustees’ Resolution RFIN 03-04-00, and consonant with Executive Order Number 740.

Effective March 12, 2007, California State University, San Marcos is authorized to establish Category III Miscellaneous Course Fees for Biology 351 Molecular Cell Biology; Biology 352 Genetics; Biology 353 Comparative Animal Physiology; and Biology 354 Principles of Ecology at a fee rate of $45. The fee will support the purchase of laboratory materials, specimens, supplies, lab kits and field trip costs.

In accordance with Section 89721(l) of the Education Code, revenue collected from Category III fees shall be deposited in a local trust account.
