STEPHEN M. SILVER

Profile:

Stephen M. Silver joined the Office of General Counsel in February 2008, after two years of private practice in the Orange County office of Jones Day. Before that, he practiced commercial, employment and criminal litigation in the Washington, D.C. offices of Baker Botts and Steptoe & Johnson. He also served as a law clerk for the Honorable Gladys Kessler, a federal district judge in Washington, D.C. Mr. Silver is currently campus counsel to California State University, Fresno and Humboldt State University. He is a member of the Student and Academic Affairs Team and the OGC’s resource attorney for Student Loans and Bankruptcy matters.
