Daniel Ojeda

Dan joined the California State University in 2007. He currently serves as University Counsel to Fresno State University and has previously represented Sonoma State, CSU Dominguez Hills, CSU Bakersfield, Sacramento State, and CSU Fullerton. Dan is a member of the Office of General Counsel Human Resources team and is a resource attorney for Intellectual Property, Disability/ADA, Athletics NCAA and Collective Bargaining matters. Previously, Dan practiced civil litigation in San Jose and was a partner and senior employment law specialist at Dannis Woliver Kelley, a San Francisco education law firm. Dan has published numerous articles on employment law and litigation issues and has been invited to speak at a variety of conferences, trainings, and workshops. Dan has extensive experience in other areas of higher education law as well, such as business contracts, intellectual property, construction, faculty affairs, and student issues. Dan is an active member of the National Association of College and University Attorneys and serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of College and University Law.
