Gale Baker

Gale S. Baker joined the Office of General Counsel in June 1995. Previously, she was in private practice with the Los Angeles office of Perkins Coie, handling complex business litigation with an emphasis on the defense of significant legal malpractice conflict of interest claims. Gale currently serves as University Counsel to California State University, Northridge, and has in the past been University Counsel to the Long Beach, Maritime, Chico and East Bay campuses. She is the Team Leader of the Academic/Student Affairs Team and is also a resource attorney on Affirmative Action, First Amendment, Title IX Discrimination, Harassment and Retaliation issues.
