Professional |
Includes persons whose job requires a college education or comparable experience; excludes faculty and managerial employees. Examples include adminstrative analysts, administrators, IT consultants, analyst/programmers, and student services professionals. |
Service and Maintenance |
Includes custodians, gardeners, laborers, campus guards, etc. |
Skilled Crafts |
Includes electricians, mechanics, carpenters, etc. |
Technical and Paraprofessional |
Includes persons whose job requires skills acquired in a junior college or equivalent on-the-job training, such as computer operators, instructional support, and equipment technicians. |
**Full-time category includes lecturers working on a full-time basis, and part-time category includes tenure-track faculty working on a part-time basis, such as those in the faculty early retirement program.
