Discrimination Complaint Procedures for Employees, Employment Applicants and Third Parties

The CSU takes allegations of Discrimination, Harassment and Retaliation seriously. We strongly encourage individuals who are subjected to such conduct to report it to the University. There are established CSU procedures for individuals to make a report.

CSU employees, including non-represented and represented (except Units 1 and 3), employment applicants, and third parties may use the complaint procedure described in Executive Order No. 1096.

Unit 1 employees use Executive Order 419 procedure, as specified in Articles 26.21-26.25 of their collective bargaining agreement.

Unit 3 employees use the Article 10 grievance procedure, as specified in Article 10.1 of their collective bargaining agreement.

An overview of the aforementioned complaint procedures and the steps within each procedure is shown in this chart (.pdf).
