Students with advanced German language proficiency can enroll in architecture courses for the entire academic year at the University of Stuttgart. Students less proficient in the language concentrate their studies on German language during the fall semester at the University of Tübingen and then, provided that they have made sufficient progress, enroll in architecture courses in Stuttgart for the spring semester. Architecture courses are supplemented by mandatory Italian language instruction and electives. Three levels of Italian language are offered each term. All students also take Italian Conversation during the fall semester.
