WHAT: California State University (CSU) students in film, video, and interactive media are encouraged to participate in the CSU Media Arts Festival (MAF) which creates a unique learning environment with industry professionals through seminars, critical review of their work, public screenings, and professional networking. MAF operates out of the CSU Chancellor’s Office and is under the umbrella of CSU Summer Arts.
Cash awards are given for “Best of Show”, winners in each of the nine categories, and to the CSU campus department of each winning entrant. The categories for entry are: Narrative, Animation, Music Video, Experimental, Documentary, Television, Interactive Media, Short Screenplay, and Feature Screenplay.

- Music Video Directing with Thomas Mignone (Slipknot, Sepultura, On the Doll)
Friday and Saturday public screenings are free to the public.
