As a woman who is part of the Hispanic community and of a low income family, I have overcome all stereotypes. I come from a small town, Winton, but represent all the Latinos in the greatest way possible. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology, a minor in Criminology, and acquired the Victim Services Certificate. I am pursuing a Master's degree in Counseling at Fresno State. My ultimate goal is to acquire a position within the Federal Bureau of Investigation as a Victim Specialist. Additionally, my academic achievements have been honored through the nomination for the Dean's Medalist and membership of three different honor societies. While enrolled at Fresno State, I served as the Community Liaison for Students Organizing for Success and as Vice President of a multicultural organization. I'm proud to have accomplished this within four years and to be part of the graduating class of 2013!
