Clery Reports: Annual Security and Fire Safety Report

California State University Clery Act/Fire Safety Compliance Websites and Notice

The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act requires the distribution of an annual security report to all current faculty, staff, and students and notice of its availability to prospective students, faculty, and staff. The annual security report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus, in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by the California State University, and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus. The report also includes institutional policies concerning campus security, such as policies concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters. You can obtain a copy of this report by contacting the Police Department of each campus or by accessing the campus websites listed below.

In compliance with the Campus Fire Safety Right-To-Know Act, the university's Annual Fire Safety Report includes on-campus student housing fire statistics; a description of fire safety systems; the number of fire drills; procedures for housing evacuation; fire safety education programs; any planned improvements in fire safety; and policies and rules on appliance use, smoking, and open flames in student housing. You can request copies from your campus housing office.
