Contribution Highlights:
- The McConnell Foundation committed $782,500 over five years to support classes
in the city of Redding. The partnership with Shasta Community College offers
bachelor’s degrees in business administration, liberal studies, nursing and
environmental sciences.
- National concrete industry patrons and suppliers committed nearly $3 million
for research, equipment, guest lecturers and sponsored industry forums to support
the Concrete Industry Management program, one of only four programs nationally.
- The Northern California Natural History Museum received gifts and pledges
totaling over $650,000 toward construction of a $4.1 million complex.
