Contribution Highlights:
- The Follett Higher Education Group provided $1.26 million in furnishings and
equipment for the new 50,000-square-foot Hornet Bookstore.
- The Bernard Osher Foundation awarded $998,467 to endow the Osher Reentry
Scholars Program, plus $50,000 in bridge funding for current scholarships.
- The Stephen and Charlotte Walker Endowment gained an additional $156,582 from
the estate of Charlotte Walker. The endowment supports faculty development and
scholarships for reentry students.
- The Broad Athletic Facility received $100,000 from an anonymous alumnus to
purchase equipment.
- Six new testamentary commitments amounting to more than $7.5 million will
eventually fund endowed scholarships, an academic chair and program support for
departments and colleges.
