Erik Fallis is speechwriter and director of executive writing for the Chancellor’s Office of the California State University – the largest system of public universities in the nation.

Fallis founded and directs the Department of Executive Writing. This team supports the trustees, chancellor, executive vice chancellors and vice chancellors in achieving university goals. Executive Writing played a pivotal role in the Class of 3 Million alumni celebration, Stand with CSU advocacy campaign and Graduation Initiative 2025 – continually reinforcing strategic messages through various communications.

Fallis has served in the CSU Chancellor’s Office for nine years. Previous experience includes work as a public affairs account executive serving public sector and higher education clients as well as a constituent affairs representative for California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. Fallis is a proud CSU San Bernardino and CSU Long Beach alumnus.
