THE COMMISSION ON PROFESSIONAL AND CONTINUING EDUCATION (CPaCE)

Education is a Relationship

California is facing an array of challenges associated with the pandemic, climate change, demographic shifts, changes in the world of work, and the rate at which these changes are occurring. California needs 1.5 million more baccalaureate educated people by 2030 to maintain its innovation success.

Many adults are going back to school seeking a certificate or credential so they can remain in, progress in, or re-enter the workforce. Industries are eager to partner with the CSU to tell us what skills, dispositions, and knowledge are vital in their industry sectors.

The CSU Commission on Professional and Continuing Education (CPaCE) allows us to collectively embrace these realities, learn how!

WE ARE THE COMMISSION ON PROFESSIONAL & CONTINUING EDUCATION

As Commissioners we have the opportunity to enable continuous education by building on the unique aspects of our university. We offer meaningful relationships to all our students through our faculty members, advisors, networks, and alumni organizations. Keeping our focus on education as a relationship sets us apart from all other knowledge and content providers. “Made in the CSU” can be a proud assertion across a career and a lifetime.
