Ms. Nicolas is the Paralegal Supervisor and has been with CSU since 2005.
Ms. Nicolas has worked on litigation and administrative cases statewide for the CSU, including a student fee class action trial. She advises on Public Records Act (PRA) requests, legal holds, and legislation.
Ms. Nicolas has a legal background in plaintiff employment, consumer class action and environmental litigation. She was with the boutique firm of Litt and Associates and Communities for a Better Environment, a community justice organization. She has taken several cases to trial, including state and federal class actions. Prior to being a paralegal, Ms. Nicolas was a professional non-profit fundraiser, working as an account executive and marketing coordinator on behalf of national organizations. Before that, she handled marketing communications for a software company.
