Dr. Richard Gearhart specializes in Health and Labor Economics. Since joining CSUB in 2014, Dr. Gearhart has published 17 peer reviewed articles in top field journals, including Empirical Economics, the Journal of Productivity Analysis, and Economic Modelling. Dr. Gearhart is a co-managing editor of the Kern Economic Journal. He has been an invited presenter at local, regional, and national conferences, and is a regular contributor on the economy. As the recipient of the Faculty Scholarship and Creative Activity Award, Dr. Gearhart looks forward to continuing to engage in innovative research.
