A CSU Fullerton faculty member since 1999, Kari Knutson Miller received accolades for her service as chair of the Child and Adolescent Studies Department and for her leadership as a member of the Planning, Resource and Budget Committee (PRBC) and the Strategic Planning Steering Committee. She has also been a faculty mentor for the McNair Scholars Program and served as adviser to the Child and Adolescent Studies Student Association.

As an educator and researcher, Knutson Miller has made numerous national and international presentations on service learning, civic engagement and teacher preparation and has been widely published in professional journals.
