Dr. Bhupinder Singh specializes in the study of gait and biomechanics, with a special focus on obesity and its impact on physical activity in children. At Fresno State, he has guided the launch of the nationally recognized Gait Analysis Movement Evaluation laboratory, and leads the Fresno State Amputee Clinic serving an underserved community.
Dr. Singh has won several awards including the Outstanding Fresno State Advisor award for his strong "student first" approach to teaching and scholarship, encouraging student publishing and professional engagement. He works closely with Central California Sports Sciences Institute, and the Fresno State Health Cohort to improve the health outcomes of Central Valley residents.
