As an Outstanding Reviewer at the Emerald Literati Network for Excellence since 2010, Pei Xu has built strong research collaborations with agribusiness professionals from California, South Dakota, Nevada, Alaska, and her home country of China. Of the 25 peer-reviewed articles she published in business or agribusiness journals, she first-authored 16 of them. Her Google Scholar citation indices show that over 100 agribusiness and food marketing articles have cited her work.

Pei Xu was a lead instructor of the study abroad course to China in 2012 and in 2014. The course provides agribusiness and agricultural majors an opportunity to explore agribusiness practices in China’s Beijing, Shanghai, Suzhou, Nanjing, Tianjing, and Xi’an.
