Professor Neufeld inspires local children to develop a love of reading through the Abundant Books for Children Project, which has provided more than 50,000 books to 3,000 pre-school children since 2002. “If you could personify the word dedication, it would be Dr. Susan Neufeld,” said a faculty colleague. “She is one of those rare people who commit to achieving goals that benefit others.”
