Leads the County of Orange, which is the third most populous county in California and more populous than 21 states in the United States.
The county has 18,000 employees, 26 departments, and a $5.6 billion budget.
Oversees a multitude of high-profile, big impact projects such as the $170 million facelift planned for Dana Point Harbor, and the La Pata road expansion between San Juan Capistrano and San Clemente.
Has held myriad leadership county positions since 1995 including Chief Financial Officer, Director of Admin. Probation Dept., and Interim Reuse Manager Local Redevelopment Authority.
