  • Since NCRF’s founding in 1999, the organization has helped more than 400,000 students get into college, awarded $600,000+ in scholarships, and helped secure over $100 million in funding for students to attend college.
  • The non-profit organization organizes six annual Black College Expos in U.S. cities; plus the Latino College Expo, All Sports Expo, and Students think STEAM College Expo.
  • Between 50 and 60 colleges and universities are represented so underserved and underrepresented youth and their families can learn about the various colleges, garner information about college admissions, resources, scholarships and financial aid.
  • After working in radio as an executive and manager for 15 years, Theresa saw a need in the community to empower youth to attend college as a way to improve their lives and their communities.
  • Partners with Steve Harvey and his Radio Network as educational consultant and College Expo partner.
  • Received an honorary doctorate degree from Virginia University of Lynchburg, and the Humanitarian Award of the Year from Stevie Wonder’s radio station KJLH.​
