With almost 30 years' experience in business television, he is one of the most respected financial journalists in the country. Co-anchor of CNBC's
Closing Bell
.
Part of the production team that, in 1981, started the Financial News Network, the first cable channel devoted to business news. When NBC purchased FNN in 1991, he was asked to join the CNBC team.

, which he co-hosted with fellow CSU Northridge alumna Sue Herera. Along the way, he has garnered seven Cable ACE Award nominations.
Upon his 20th anniversary in the business, the National Association of Investors awarded him its Distinguished Service Award in Investor Education.

Continues service to campus as a member of the Cal State Northridge Foundation Board of Directors and served on the University’s Task Force on Engagement in 2011-2012. Annually returns to California to serve as master of ceremonies for the Distinguished Alumni Awards gala.
