  • Named Most Valuable Player on the 1990 Cal Poly Pomona baseball team and played two seasons for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
  • Instrumental in helping to launch a new $7 million state-of-the-art baseball facility improvement project at Cal Poly Pomona.
  • Served as a page in the opening and closing ceremonies of the XXIII Olympiad for the 1984 summer games held in Los Angeles.
