Currently leading an $8.5 billion LAX modernization project, the largest public works project in the history of the city of Los Angeles
Committed to building the complex structures with leading-edge innovation and design, while creating new jobs and opportunities for small, local and diverse business
Appointed in 2012 to President Obama’s Advisory Committee on Aviation Consumer Protection and currently serves on the Oversight Committee of the Transportation Research Board’s Airport Cooperative Research Program
Previously served as Aviation Director at the Port of Oakland, where she completed the $480 million Air BART extension, revitalized passenger traffic, and redesigned the Oakland Airports customer experience to make the airport more competitive
Began a 23-year career at the Port of Oakland in the finance division in 1992
, climbing the ranks to Aviation Director in 2010
