Sonoma
B.S., Business Administration (1998)

  • Natalie is the co-owner and president of Russian River Brewing Company in Sonoma County, California. The brewery was founded in 1997 by Korbel Champagne Cellars where her husband Vinnie, was the Brewmaster. Vinnie and Natalie acquired the brand in 2003 and opened their first brewpub in Santa Rosa, California.
  • The couple make award-winning beers at Russian River including their flagship Double IPA, Pliny the Elder, which is also distributed to bars, restaurants, and stores throughout CA, OR, CO and PA. Their most sought-after beer, Pliny the Younger, is released each February and draws visitors from all over the world.
  • Natalie spends most of her time overseeing all administrative, sales, and pub operations while staying connected with all things COVID-19, the local community, and changing trends in the beer industry. She currently serves on the California Craft Brewer's Association Board of Directors and Sonoma State University's Green Music Center Advisory Board.
  • Natalie receives the most joy from giving back to the community and the many non-profits she and her husband support. After the Tubbs Fire raged through Santa Rosa in 2017, they embarked on a massive fundraiser with Levi Leipheimer's King Ridge Foundation to raise over $1.1M for local fire victims.
  • In 2020, they brewed Black Is Beautiful which was part of a global craft brewing effort to raise funds and awareness in support of the Black Lives Matter movement. Some of her favorite local non-profits are Council on Aging, Canine Companions for Independence, and the Humane Society of Sonoma County.
