ARI-NEXTGEN Opportunities

The ARI was recently awarded a 5-year $9.5million grant from the NIFA NextGen Program. This grant provides:

  • 421 paid fellowships for students to work in FANH research and professional projects and USDA internships.
  • Four Leadership and Communicating Science workshops.
  • Ability to:
    • Work on a discipline-specific career-advancing project
    • Work with faculty, professional, and agency mentors
    • Gain knowledge about FANH and USDA careers
    • Learn critical thinking skills that are highly desired by employers
