2024

Estefania Hernandez Luna has witnessed the pervasive impact of generational trauma. She is committed to breaking those cycles, advocating for marginalized communities and supporting those who are navigating similar challenges.

In 2021, Estefania graduated magna cum laude from San José State with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and is pursuing a master’s degree in social work at Stanislaus State.

As a part of an internship program, Estefania has served the Latino community, providing support to individuals dealing with depression, anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder. Other individuals she has helped include the elderly, hospice patients, adults grappling with trauma, those facing homelessness and battling drug addiction, and children dealing with mental health issues.

Estefania plans to obtain her social work license and continue serving oppressed populations within the mental health field.
