Jeffrey Mueller was born into a family that has made a living working on the ocean, and he has followed in their sea-loving footsteps. Currently a marine transportation major at Cal Maritime, he has made the President’s List with a 3.95 GPA. Jeffrey has volunteered at community events, assisted with campus boat days and served as a peer mentor. He was an undergraduate senator in Cal Maritime’s Associated Students organization and is now its vice president of finance.

​After graduating, Jeffrey plans to work as a tugboat operator with dreams of becoming a harbor pilot.
