Climate Action Grants and Loans Program

The Climate Action Grants and Loans Program supports CSU campuses in identifying and pursuing external funding to augment campus climate adaptation and resiliency investments.

Program Goals

  1. Assist campuses in pursuing external funds targeted for physical infrastructure improvement projects to improve campus resiliency and achieve systemwide carbon neutrality goals.
  2. Establish CSU campuses as places of safe refuge during extreme weather events and other emergency situations and to support community resilience as the impacts of climate change increase.
  3. Build public agency and community-based partnerships to foster regional collaboration to align investments with climate action strategies.​

Search for Climate Action Grants an​d Loans​​

Master Agreement

The Grants Search and Grants Writing Master Agreement provides the CSU with professional services in grant search and grant writing from a bench of pre-approved vendors. The intention of initiating these services is to help the CSU identify and receive external funding for campus infrastructure and development projects that support climate adaptation and resiliency. This master agreement is available to all CSU entities.
