The CSU East Bay College of Education and Allied Studies (CEAS) offers programs for aspiring and current education professionals, including classroom teachers, special education teachers, school administrators, school psychologists, and school counselors. The doctoral program (Ed.D.) prepares bold, socially responsible leaders for California’s public schools. CEAS education programs feature: A cohort model, with 20 -30 students completing their courses together; the innovative use of technology, with many classes offered online or partially online; and faculty who are both scholars and experienced practitioners.
In addition, CEAS includes the Department of Kinesiology and the Department of Hospitality, Recreation, and Tourism. Both departments offer popular bachelors and masters degree programs. All CEAS programs seek to fulfill the College mission: “to prepare collaborative leaders, committed to professional excellence, social justice, and democracy, who will influence a diverse and interconnected world.”
