University Police Immigration Violations Policy

Primary jurisdiction for enforcement of federal immigration laws concerning unlawful entry into the United States rests with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, not with CSU University Police agencies. To help maintain a university environment where members of our community are not hesitant or afraid to come forward or interact with the University Police departments, the CSU established a systemwide policy applicable to each university. A copy of the systemwide policy, which is also published on each university web site, is available below.​
