PaCE FELLOWS
The purpose of the PaCE Fellows Program is to promote and support professional, career, and leadership development for CSU faculty, subject matter experts, and staff through a year-long program. PaCE Fellows spend one year in career development activities based on an individual growth plan created with their supervisor. Activities supported by the program include attending and/or presenting at a professional association conference, individual mentoring/coaching, enrolling in a certificate program, skills and/or knowledge building, and others. At the end of the year, each fellow makes a presentation on how they spent their year and lessons learned.
Applications must be coordinated and submitted within CSU Professional and Continuing Education (PaCE) at the campus level.

The purpose of PaCE Fellows is to promote and support professional, career, and leadership development for faculty, subject matter experts, and staff through a year-long program.
There are three (3) categories within the fellowship program applicants may apply based on the category's eligibility outlined below:

Faculty/Professional Practitioners – Faculty who work with and/or teach in PaCE programs.

Staff – PaCE staff and/or campus staff who work with PaCE units (self-support functions).

Partnerships –PaCE Faculty and/or staff submitting a nomination together.
The final selections will depend upon the applications received and the decision of the PaCE ARC Community of Practice (CoP).
Each PaCE fellow’s campus department will receive a stipend of $7000 to help cover the cost of participation. Funds may be used for a variety of activities, including attending and/or presenting at a professional association conference, individual mentoring/coaching, enrolling in a certificate program, skills and/or knowledge-building activities, etc. Campuses may augment the award with local self-support funds.
The CPaCE Awards and Recognition Committee (ARC) Community of Practice (CoP) reviews each nomination and determines which nominees, if any, to present to the Commission for a vote during a CPaCE Business meeting. PaCE Fellows are selected by the (ARC) based on the nominations received from CSU campuses. The decision is based on a summary and recommendations presented by the CPaCE ARC CoP. Awardees in each category are notified via congratulatory communication and will be formally honored and invited to attend a future commission event.
PACE AWARDS AND RECOGNITION COMMITTEE (ARC)
The CPaCE Awards and Recognition Committee (ARC) Community of Practice (CoP) establishes standards and activities within PaCE to recognize excellence in course design, instruction, facilitation, and leadership development for faculty, staff, and subject matter experts serving self-support learners in the CSU. The Committee selects participants according to established guidelines. This CoP also receives individualized career plan updates/presentations from participants and supervisors at the end of the one-year program.
